Does anyone know when TAB 4 and 5 break ground?
Tower 5 will be so popular, perhaps it will sell out in one day if priced right

Guest services told me first week of July for both rec room and Cineplex. Take with grain of salt as they have given me wrong dates before (though those were just estimates too 🤷)

No, KFC or Subway? Jk, much better selections than Metrotown's

H&M opening this Thursday. Posted on Amazing Brentwood's instagram. This includes the H&M Home store.

I wonder if they will open up the boulevard for cars to access alpha way and halifax now that the fencing will likely be removed. Probably not. I will forever get lost uber eats/skip drivers =/.

was very busy down there today, they had a security person ensuring people follow the ENTER only signage, but was only at one spot so people were doing whatever they wanted at the other end ignoring the signage and arrows etc.

The road is all opened up now and people are parking in there.

The east Mews was quite busy with all the benches being used in front of the H&M. You can't see it in the photo though.

The mall website map has Neptune Seafood House back in that second floor space on the right in your last pic.

The fountain tree looks to be sparse on leaves.

ah ok, there is a hot pot place opening on the grand court side of the skywalk, the signage wasn't there a week or so ago.

That Victory bakery place has had its hoarding taken down replaced by black fabric/curtains, you can see a bit inside that it looks complete and should open soon.

I think we've seen preliminary renderings before, but detailed renderings posted today at VancouverMarket.ca.

I'm still wondering if there will be a community centre at TAB or not (it was previously at this corner of the site)
Note the parking lot driveway entrance through the podium.
Podium cladding/design looks pretty awful compared to earlier phases.

Tower 6 at ‘Amazing Brentwood’ to Include 443 Units

Quote:
This rezoning application by Shape Properties is for the detailed design
and construction of the sixth tower in the overall Amazing Brentwood Project. The overall master plan for the project was approved in 2013 and the first five towers are at various stages from completed and occupied to under construction.

Tower 6 will be located at the Northwest corner of the site, fronting Willingdon. It is currently surface parking.

The proposal for Tower 6 is a 39 storey residential tower, inclusive of a 4 storey rental podium with commercial at grade.
Details include:

443 residential units;
369 condos;
21 market rental units;
53 non-market rental units;
20,000 sq ft of office space;
11,900 sq ft of retail space fronting Willingdon & Brentwood Blvd;
an overall density of 9.67 FAR.
a total building height of 417 ft.
...
The architect for the project is IBI Group.

I like the stepped down part as we haven't seen it too many times yet (give it time and it'll be the next protruding box... ). I haven't been over there to check recently but I'm pretty sure the towers next to New West Quay also had that driveway entrance through the podium in their plans.

The community centre will be part of tower 4, which is going to be all rental.

That means we will not see a community center in about 10 years, assuming they build T5 and T6 first. Btw the retail already 90 % leased which means no luck for a grocery store in Phase 1. Has to wait for T5 or may be even T6 to see if there is suitable retail space .

Have we seen similar renderings for tower 5 already? I was somehow under the impression that both 5 and 6 would go up simultaneously. I hope they get started soon as it's going to take a while for these to start riding. All that excavation will be a slow process.

Tower 5 already went through third reading so you assume both will go up at the same time.

The Tower 4 site was a proposed site for a grocery store but if the community centre is there - probably no space for a store.
