Major earth moving as this subdivision is being prepped for services just west of River Bend.

Still heavy equipment installing underground services for this new neighborhood. Further west in Kilworth the first 2 homes in the new sub-division Kilworth Heights West are already raised. Also the sign is up at the corner of Glendon Dr and Jefferies Rd that it will be the site of a Home Hardware Building Center.

Curbs now poured for access to West Kains subdivision. Sadly looks like there will be a future traffic collision hotspot in the making. The intersection of Gideon and Oxford was perfect for a major redesign to improve safety and traffic flows.

Site prep underway for block of townhomes backing onto Oxford is now started. The entire subdivision is quickly being built.

Nearing completion of these townhomes in Eagle Ridge now. Most of the detached home lots are also now built or sold as this sub division finishes up.

Looks like the tough financial times has resulted in these condo sales stalling out. A number of the units have been sitting at the basement concrete wall stage now for a couple of years with no signs that any sales have happened in order to bring back the construction crews.

This is yet another example of the dramatic slowdown in new housing construction starts we are seeing.
