The information from taiwan-city.com, the height may be pass over 220m.
Because, the developer try to get more floor area ratio.

but i thought you said there's no interest from senior managers to build the towers?

Yes, I said there is conflict occur between senior managers. But I am wrong.
In fact, it is conflict of company establisher's sons which relate company share transaction. I don't happen to the company, but I don't think it will affect this development.

According reliable information the project is added another storey so it is 46 storeys now. And shape is half-circle and it will be glass building.

信義區飯店太多 國壽A3改蓋商辦

台北市信義計畫區內飯店林立,市場飽和,國泰人壽持有將近七年的A3土地原本預定與國際知名的四季飯店合作,但最近已取消合作,將改為興建商場及辦公大樓。

A3土地面積三千六百一十坪,在信義計畫區排第二大,面積僅次於台北一○一大樓腹地。

為搶陸客市場,先前信義計畫區飯店一家接一家蓋,讓區內的客房數多到破表。

房仲業者透露,目前信義計畫區內除君悅飯店、新光美麗殿酒店、W旅館外,興建中的還有富邦寒舍酒店;而宏泰集團持有的Neo19隔鄰一棟商辦大樓,也將改建為三星級飯店;若再加上信義區邊緣的亞太會館和柯旅天閣,目前區內客房間數已突破兩千五百間。

國泰人壽早在二○○四年二月,以八十二億元標下的A3,由於是信義計畫區內「最後一塊」超過三千坪的大面積素地,外界一直關注其用途。

相關人士透露,國泰人壽原先打算與四季飯店合作,也要蓋五星級飯店,但後來合作破局;主因是區內飯店客房數供過於求,國壽評估後決定「不蓋飯店了」。

國泰金控總經理陳祖培表示,原則上A3土地利用,會朝商辦大樓規畫。據了解,由於A3面積超過三千六百坪,又計畫建成超過一萬五千坪的商辦大樓加商場,依照台北市環保局的要求,必須先辦理「環評作業」,環評過關才能動工。

國壽A3才剛整地,外資和陸資金融業的興趣就很高,已透過仲介在探詢。據了解,有家目前在台沒有總部大樓的歐系外銀,打算仿照美商花旗銀行與華新麗華的合作案,爭取「冠名」A3商辦大樓;但國壽表示,要先完成環評,才能對外招租,目前還言之過早。

遠雄人壽在信義計畫區持有約一千四百多坪的A1土地,也要興建成商辦大樓。

台灣房屋不動產研究中心執行長邱太煊認為,ECFA生效,陸資將加速來台,信義區商辦大樓即使有空置狀況,去化速度也會加快。

OK Cathay Life think there is too much hotel in Xiyin, they are going to change their tactic to office buidling. Thus, it is going to be glass curtain office tower for foreign bank as headquarter.

And regarding that European Bank headquarter they mentioned, I think it is HSBC Bank (汇丰/滙豐).........
HSBC likes to built their headquarters near Citi Bank, and taller. For Example:
