Herbies @ Queenston Traffic circle

Well colour it gone. I went in there yesterday not really paying attention and it was empty, bare bones.
The Rexall just across the street (2 blocks East), open the 16th of November.
Anyone know what the plans, are for the Herbie property?

There's a big "for Lease" sign out front, so I'd say there are no definite plans right now. If someone were to scoop that property and the motel next door, they'd have a fair-sized piece of land to do... well, something. And since Strathearne is one of the half-mile streets, I'd have to think there'd be an LRT stop to serve the Queenston Traffic Circle.

50/50 chance I bought my first ever pack of domes there as a teen (the Hy & Zel's at Queenston and Centennial would be the other option, where Giant Tiger is now). Memories!
