Enjoying so much reading all the naysayers and explainers as to why Montreal shouldn't be or didn't deserve to be where they are now

Aaaallez allez aaallllez aaaallez Montréal!

I'm really enjoying these NHL playoffs. Are you?

What a game by the Isles!

I sent a few folks the old 'two goal lead worst in sport'... should have bought a lotto ticket.

Isles/Habs please and thank you.

GO HABS!

Céline Dion just tweeted in French to wish us a happy Fête nationale and St-Jean-Baptiste.

But the last line was the best.

My translation: "And BTW, I had absolutely NOTHING to do with that picture. And I think you all know which picture I'm talking about! "

Apparently there is a crowd of over 20,000 people watching the game outside the Bell Centre. Thanks to Toronto and the Raptors for making this a "thing"!

Though unlike Toronto there are no big screens put up by the team or the city for people to watch the game.

People are watching the game on phones or on screens of nearby restaurants and bars that they can see through the windows.

I get the appeal of getting together outside to watch the game on a big screen, but how does crowding on a street to watch on a phone or through a restaurant window make any sense whatsoever? Especially when there's that pesky pandemic still going on?

Actually, it was the Leafs that started out the gathering at Maple Leafs Square.

They opened up for Raptors afterwards and renamed it Jurassic Park whenever the Raptors play.

Doesn't make any sense, but people are fed up of staying home I guess. If they put big screen TVs outside, it would probably be 60,000 people there instead of just 20,000, so there's that.

Well whatayaknow ! Caufield scored on Lehner, and it wasn't five hole...

14th goal by a Hab that's 21 years old & under in these playoffs. That's a franchise record.

Potential series clinching game on a holiday, I don't see why this is a surprise. People are looking to party.

Cops are now shutting down streets that access the area, as there are more and more people heading towards the Bell Centre apparently.

There are guys from my kids' entourage here in Gatineau who were there during the last game, and appeared on news coverage of the "event".

No news on whether they went again tonight.
