SkyTower on the left, Phase 1 climbing in the centre.

SkyTower construction.

Reposting my fav render: Phase 3 on the left (pre-construction), Phase 1 in the centre (u/c) and SkyTower on the right (u/c), dwarfing the other two.

Did you mean The One (Yonge and Bloor) proposed increase from 309m to 338m? (no news yet).

If One Yonge's SkyTower is looking for a height increase, I missed that news (or rumour).

Was on the ferry to Centre Island today, here on business, skyline is looking mighty!

Photos unfortunately will only post oversize and blurry so I'll leave links too, but here you go:

Though only 217m when topped out, Phase 1 (on the right) already looking tall in part due to its proximity to the waterfront.  SkyTower will be a monster from this pov (95.5m taller).

The right side of the photo above will eventually be rather insane as koops' drawings demonstrate... all 8 of these towers (4 u/c) are located within blocks of each other and near the waterfront.

Future Waterfront view.

Steveve did a great render based on the pic posted earlier.

Future(note the 8 towers of One Yonge and Sugar Wharf on the right). Original financial district has disappeared.

Thanks, Maldive. Maybe it's my imagination, but Phase 2 seems to be moving along relatively apace. I wish the second phase of Sugar Wharf would break ground.

Interestingly, site plan approval submission images for Sugar Wharf Phase 2 were posted a day after your comment. The 90 storey tower remains a supertall tease @ 299m.

Some of the images include Pinnacle One Yonge.

Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) - 90, 87, 79 and 16 storeys (condo, rental, retail).

Another rumour is circulating that SkyTower is being redesigned to accommodate a big jump in height to 110 floors. Sounds like a logistical/structural nightmare this late in the game but who knows.

Hmm, perhaps I have precognition. I opened a thread for Phase 2 in Proposals. Not sure, but I think someone at UT mentioned they were completing Phase 1 before commencing with the second. I hope that is erroneous.

^Here are a couple taken last Saturday by UT member mburrrrr:

And this is a shot from Wednesday, taken by UT member Rascacielo, of the nearly-completed shortest tower (712 ft.) in the complex (building with crane toward left of image):

Render of all three. The tallest is the one currently rising from the pit:

So much construction, and seems like the math works for pretty tall stuff. It is too bad there is not a hill or other geographic feature (like the rivers in NYC) that let you get a good view of from downtown all the way to Yorkville. It is such an impressive skyline but I don't see too many pictures of it all together.
