1206 SW 19th Ave | xx' | 15 Floors | Dead

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled by C2K Architecture to discuss a project at 1206 SW 19th Ave:

Quote:
Construction of a new 15 story mixed use apartment building. 268 apt units with some ground floor commercial. Below grade parking approximately 150 spaces.
Goose Hollow Foothills League is going to hate this.

I just checked the site on Google Maps. Is that a park across the street or does someone have a whole vacant block to themselves in the middle of Goose Hollow?

The MAC owns that block, and have long wanted to build a parking garage / residential development on the site. GHFL have fought it tooth and nail.

According to PortlandMaps, this site is not the MAC club block; it's the block to that block's SW. Not that that changes anything, NIMBY-wise.

Yes, to be clear this the block bound by Madison, 18th, Jefferson and 19th. The northern half of the block all appears to be in the same ownership.

Very old (former) homes with some surface lots. Currently owned by Gilbert Brothers. Under contract for sale to Chicago-based company working with Brian Owendoff. South half of the block owned by Dan Petrusich who likely has his own project brewing.
