I actually work in Two Houston Center, but my office includes the office bridge that hangs between One and Two Houston, above San Jacinto. That picture was taken from the seventh floor of that bridge.

It's a take off on "W"
Some of the renderings in the PDF actually have that building with the W logo on the sides.

I looked at the pdf and it shows a street lined with palm trees. I really hate palm trees in Houston.

They seem as natural in Houston as they do in any other part of the coastal plains: Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Gulfport, New Orleans, etc.
