No, above the roof a steel parapet will wrap around the edge extending to 1,550.

I don't know how you don't get it, 1,477 feet is the current progress/height of the tower

Seriously, the fact that it'll soon top off at 1,550' is the only number I care about. I don't see why it matters to check the current height every day.

Because I will be in NYC the next 22nd August and I hope that this tower will be T.O. for that date....

I really love this building, it deserves to be the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and not a building 182 feet shorter with a 408 foot “spire”

I feel like 111 West 57 will be the only new tower topped out by then, CPT and One Vanderbilt should follow in the next few months

A lot of people like me want to know the tower's current height and how close it is to the top. Especially this tower, it's highly anticipated. If it would be 100 feet tall like before I would've loved it, but what we have now is fine

True, I'd guess it'll top off in late August/Early September at this point, maybe sooner?

Agreed, although of course there are different ways to measure a building, pinnacles do count for something, and can look cool, but are a dumb way to gain height alone.

About CTP it is only 22m to T.O. and 8/10m of these 22m are a simply parapet. I think that in 1 month it is possible....

There is a website for aviation with charts that have building heights. Skyvector. Go to charts and click on the NYC area. You can choose from several chart's with detail on the building heights. AGL and MSL
