having returned to the unbearable summer heat of Dubai I live on the memories of our trip to Norway. For three weeks my wife, the toddler and a friend of mine traveled the southern half of the country with a caravan. It was our second visit, but it will certainly not have been our last trip to this great country with its stunning landscapes!

Desert Diver, if this thread isn't motivation to go back to Norway I don't know what is. The furthest I've been is Oslo. Thanks for showing me what I'm missing out on.

I can only cheat once a week. I usually go for a Double Burger , Chocolate and icecream milk shake and a plate of curlies and onion rings.
I'll be going to Oslo in July, but won't get out of the city.
However, a trip through the Norwegian fjords with my dad is my dream vacation. He's really not fond of cities, so I think that would be one place we would both enjoy immensely.
