92 Stonehurst Ave | 14.5 m | 4 fl | Proposed

ModBox is bringing the authentic loft concept to a new development in the recently revitalized Mechanicville area. The 6-unit, plus penthouse, Mechanicsville Lofts project is a pioneering urban renewal and redevelopment project. It’s unlike any other development in the city. With 1200 square feet of open space and ceiling heights of 11 feet these lofts will have unmatched volume. Private elevators access each unit directly. All residences will have traditional loft characteristics, including polished concrete floors with radiant heat, exposed timber columns and beams and open floor plans with floor to ceiling windows, full views of Laroche park and Parliament Hill.

Nice renderings.

Where is the ugly post and cable holding it gone?

The wire run ends right there at that post... maybe they'll pay to bury it from the previous pole?

It's nice to see this emerging new Ottawa vernacular for small-scale infill. The use of the lane there is what makes this one fit well despite being a bit bigger than the neighbours.

Love the look, and the use of the block to keep the parking off the main street. Also good that they are building with the assumption of transit users.

It hasn't been built yet. I've been told that they are going to be re-launching it in June with new floorplans and pricing.

It's relaunched - not sure if hard or soft. I got the pricelist from their mailing list last week.

It has now been re-released...?

Six units, all two bedrooms (the penthouse also has a den) ranging from 1,067sqft up to 1,640sqft (not including outdoor spaces). Prices are not publicly published however, they start from the mid 500’s. They are looking at a target occupancy of summer 2020.'

I don't know the status but if there are only six units to split the costs of maintenance and upkeep and insurance and on and on - with amenities such as elevators and roof top terrace that is going to be a hefty condo fee bill
