Thanks Berklon, really appreciate these videos! Ok I'm feeling much better about this now, the gaps are being filled in nicely, the windows look amazing & they are making progress on the parking garage/deck area. it's all coming together now.

Really hoping for a Nov/Dec move in date!? 4th floor think it's possible?

I'm thinking it's doubtful at this point.

I noticed a couple months ago in their unit listings (3rd floor unit for example) on Realtor.ca they stated a tentative move-in date of "Late 2021". But now that's no longer in the description - which tells me we're looking at early 2022 at best.

Maybe they'll pick up the pace during the summer and it'll be opening sooner?

They have done quite a bit in the last 3 months where they were still only on the first floor.

E-mail was sent today with an aerial shot of the construction, and it also stated "Get ready to move-in this year!"

So I guess it'll be ready for at least some floors this year - which is good news.

What's the deal with the foundations to the left of the main structure?

I think that's underground parking? you can see the road behind the building goes directly into it

Yes, that is underground parking. However, the road that goes behind the building is only there for the duration of construction - the right side will be closed off and only the left side will have an entrance/exit to parking (underground or ground level).

That's fantastic news! Lets hope we flatten this covid curve and keep it flat so no other disruptions happen!

My neighbor's company has been working on this project and he tells me the crane will be removed in April and the top floor will be finished in May.

New month, another boring video.

Video Link

They topped off the underground parking. I can't tell if it's going to be 2 levels or not - some things seem to indicate that it will be, other things don't.

The 6th floor is well underway.

That definitely looks like a 2 level garage. The windows are looking great, it's coming along!

I remember someone saying on another thread that you can't paint precast it will just peel away in time. Precast could however be stained but the colour wouldn't be vibrant. It's best that the precast comes from the factory with the final colour built in.

So how are they going to finish this building? That one precast slab that has the colour looks really good. Was that painted? If so how long before the entire building would need to be repainted again in the future if painting precast is not recommended?

This thread is shown in Stoney Creek but area was never in Stoney Creek. This was originally Saltfleet township before it was taken over by Hamilton around 1960. Just for clarification. Most likely get lost in the Hamilton stuff.

Yeah, somebody mentioned that earlier in the thread. Should probably be moved... though, this part of town really is ambiguous, isn't it.
