This tower is making a huge impact to the skyline when coming off the Fremont Bridge. (Un?)fortunately there hasn't been enough traffic lately to take a quick pic on the way off the bridge.

Thanks for the updates! I feel like buildings of this size will really increase the public profile of neighborhoods like Goose Hollow and NW. It's very exciting!

Wow, this tower really stands out. I haven't seen it from any other vantage point other than up close lately so haven't been able to see what kind of impact it has made.

Right now, what distinguishes the ART tower is its 20 or so story height in a neighborhood with much shorter buildings. But I believe that on completion, most people will find both the ground floor and the penthouse to be pleasing. The ground floor has undulating storefronts with V-shaped recessed glass planes at each structural bay and a cable-supported steel canopy at each bay. Similar undulating glass planes at the penthouse are now taking shape. The penthouse glass appears to be pulled away from the four corners, creating a sense that the roof is almost floating. If creative night lighting of the penthouse is planned, it will be quite visually striking.

ART = Artists Repertory Theatre

It is also good news that the rehabilitation of the other half of the block, the Artists Repertory Theatre southern half of the block, is in process for its building permit. Lever Architecture's website has this description of the project:

This is a great looking building, thanks for the photos. Goose Hallow has had so many interesting projects the last several years. Hope the momentum keeps up.

Is that a phone wide angle lens or do you take pictures with something else?
