Wonder what we could see develop on this block in its place.

Wow.

We lost the Tug Boat and the New Old Lompoc last year. Well, technically, we lost the New Old Lompoc a few years ago, but it reopened as the Lompoc Tavern in a new building, with tables too small to eat in and a space too loud to talk with friends in. The New Old Lompoc and the Tug Boat were two of my all time favorite places. It's sad to see them gone.

Very sad news. The building itself is on the National Register so isn't going anywhere. It would be nice if another brewer could take the space.

Bridgeport pioneered the northwest IPA over 20 years ago, they've earned some nostalgia tears

Modera Davis

So far looks like a cheap copy of the two other vaguely art deco condos nearby.

Agreed, excellent to see so many photo updates of developments I haven't had a chance to see in person.

Same here, thank you for all the photos, I have gotten around to see some of these buildings, but just don't have the time like I use to to walk around everywhere taking photos of everything that has been built or is in the process of being built.

Taken today.

Taken last month. There has been good progress on the exterior since.

Wow that's cool, and kinda surprising after the past 18 months. I forgot who used to lease this building, they had that "working/ playing" neon sign on the corner. Funny, the Google Street view actually captures a guy taking that sign down.

Hotel business is coming back... with a vengeance. With most hotels taking around 2+ years to actualize from the ground up, this one would potentially open around the time business in DT stabilizes.
