I wondered if it was because of post count and they were just waiting for a new thread to start, but it's still well within the normal thread size.

I re-opened it - someone must've just accidentally closed it. It's easy to hit the wrong button (e.g. I've almost edited someone's post trying to quote/reply to it several times - and would've done had I hit Submit).

With my user name it's actually shockingly easy to find out who I am! Although I just checked and the online database where I work has my name misspelled...

I remember Don going up to North York City Centre and being absolutely shocked at the highrises there - it's definitely much more built up than downtown or midtown Phoenix. And the situation 10 years ago pales in comparison to what's there now as well.

I was there too, and I brought my sister along.

I remember both of you! You lived in North Bay at the time but your sister lived near the Victory from what I can recall. She seemed great and put up with skyscraper dorks haha.

OK, I remember you (softee) as well. It was a couple of weeks before I moved into this apartment I have now (10 years as of yesterday!) because when someone123 came up with me to my previous place at 190 St. George to drop something off, it was full of my half-packed boxes. Odd how things start coming back. I had a visit from kool maudit around the same time - we had dinner at Thai Basil, I'm pretty sure, because that was the only restaurant I used to go to in those days.

Do you know people from SSP in real life (and therefore their real names)?

Do you know who some SSPers are, but they don't know you know their real names?

I only know UrbanToronto members by their real names.

I find myself being very curious about those I like and even more curious about those who don't like me.

One more incognito here..I prefer it that way for online forums.

Having said that, if there were ever a meet up in Ottawa I would probably be down for it..Pending it's not on a week night. My mornings come waaay too early.

I'm on the trade show side.
If you haven't been in a couple of years you'd be shocked at how quiet it has become.

I haven't seen toaster much lately on either site.

I've met a few in Edmonton. In the Edmonton forum everyone seems to know each other on a first name basis.

SHH also forgot he has me on FB.

Sounds like George Bernard Shaw, but probably kool maudit. Sounds the same to me.

Funny coincidence but I heard an SSP forumer interviewed on the radio very very recently.
