Brampton riverwalk.. curious if this will ever come to fruition, this is Brampton after all... but would be wonderful to see this happen.

Just drove by the site yesterday and saw the zoning signage for it. That plot really could use it. Downtown Brampton is horribly bland and uninspiring but some new condo developments could help spruce things up.

Conceptual drawings for Bramalea City centre development around the existing mall. As someone who's lived in Brampton for the past 7 years I know how slow things are to get going around here.. so I wouldn't necessarily expect any of this to be done any time soon, maybe not at all.. we'll see. Looks pretty decent for the area though. From the street though it looks so uninviting and boring..

Looks pretty bad...but it will make Brampton's centre more vibrant. It's a bit of a shame that transit from Toronto to Brampton is so tough, partly owing to the infrastructure design leading to Brampton. In the future I look forward to finally seeing some investment in transit toward Brampton....I get it's a car dominated suburb like Mississauga, but it's a little tough geting there by bus.

Anyways, it's good to see some more investment in their downtown, and projects actually going ahead.

Update on the development at 253 queen street east. The building height appears to have changed from 30, 32 and 46 storeys to 32, 33 and 38 storeys. https://planning.brampton.ca/Citizen...howInspection=

wow!! thanks for the updates Northernking!

the queens st. e towers look pretty decent. Nothing particularly special or flashy but appropriate for the area I think. Looks like a decent proposal.

as for the Bartley Bull proposal. ...that's literally on the Tokyo Maki sushi restaurant? ..shame to lose that... guess a victim of the pandemic. Don't know how I feel about a 25 storey tower in peel village though.

2 residential buildings, 12 and 28 storeys proposed at 2 Hanover Rd near Bramalea City Centre. https://planning.brampton.ca/Citizen...howInspection= The original proposal was made back in 2018 for 2 buildings at 12 and 26 storeys which I believe was approved but they decided to increase the height for one of the buildings.

I forgot to mention that there are already 2 buildings in this area which will not be demolished instead the new buildings will be built where the pool and tennis courts are.
