SHANGHAI | St. John's Health Clinic | HEIGHT | 45 FLOORS

I've noticed this little crane tucked away in Jing An for awhile, but I never fully investigated the site. Today I decided to check it out and boy, was I happy with what I saw.

Feb 17

Here is the crane

And here is the rendering. It's 45 stories with what looks to be a department store at the base with offices (probably the clinic) occupying the bottom 10 floors. The rest looks to be apartments. It's a wonderful design with a lot of rounded curves.

Nice discovery, Giallo ! Noone had ever posted anything about this building. It seems to be closed to The Center. Any indication of its height ?

Not sure of the height, but it's gotta be over 500ft. Thirty five of the floors are condo and the other ten look to be office, so I'd wager it'll top the magic 500.

Starting to rise quickly

It looks like the condos will start from the first floor with the offices/hospital component in the front

It's pretty amazing how quickly this tower has risen in five short months

Hehe, that's a nice name for a skyscraper.
Impressive growth as well. Thanks for the updates, giallo.

I like it.
If I had known that it was not really a clinic, I would have checked this thread earlier.
