[Halifax] 3582 Joseph Howe Drive (at Percy Street) | 25 m | 8 fl | U/C

Blue Basin Investments is asking Halifax to adjust the height rules for its property at 3587 Percy Street to allow for a 8-storey residential building with ground floor commercial space facing Joe Howe Drive. Parking would be accessed off of both streets. The site is currently home to OK Tire and is located across from Atlantic Superstore.

There are no renderings available but there is a site plan and cross-section at Halifax Planning - Case 22503.

More information and rendering available about this project now thanks to the required Construction Management Plan.

It will be a two phase development of 8 FL buildings with 2+1 levels of underground parking. Phase 1 on the northern end will start construction in the next few weeks.

Eh, not a fan of the additional cross walk over the COLT to allow for vehicular access into the building. I guess the alternative is a busier Percy Street. Hm.
