Now known as Torre - with 2020 being tarnished this is not surprising haha

I say this every time a project gets renamed, but these West Campus projects seriously need to learn how to stick to a name.

West Campus towers all look like someone took an overdesigned mid-rise along the high-line in NYC and then value engineered it with legos.

Still, West Campus density is awesome and it's responsible for keeping campus and student stuff on and around campus so I'll take it. There was a point 20 years ago where students basically dominated a full 30% of the land area of Austin.

I don't mind it. It reminds me of Nordic architecture. I don't know how good the interiors are and if that's up to snuff, but the exterior designs remind me a lot of European architecture.

Having a mixture of weird looking buildings like this is ok with me.

I think neighborhoods like this are fun because of the weird buildings. They're not in an overly prominent location, and proximity to college campuses, etc., can mesh with the already weird vibes next to a college, which can be fun. Even if it diversifies with non-students living there more and more, it's just part of the DNA of that area. Not a problem for me.

I see a nice opportunity for another 300 footer.

I like the building, the pool on top is nice but only 3 or 4ft deep. I live across the street and got to see it go up all throughout this past year

That's pretty much the maximum depth commercial pools are allowed to be built these days.
