You would be surprised at how many people actually do have two cars. I know at Crown on Regency, they had to eliminate visitor parking because the garage was full and the lot out back was full with tenant cars. Royale Summit has only 1 garage open currently, but it is full with a boatload of cars outside.
Mira Vista has a full lot and I believe, so does The Bentley. The only building that has empty spaces in its garage is skyview terrace. It has a bigger garage because it didn't install any storage closets in its basement. That and that building is never full...

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, we have completed ground testing and all came back ok. We are just finalizing a few last details with suite layouts and are looking to start digging later this year.
We have switched a few things up in the podium levels and are exploring different avenues on how to wrap the building. We want to cover the building in glass, but aren't sure if we want to do the regular curtain wall or the new window wall system. Fares is using it on his new building, St. Lawrence, but have heard he is having issues with leaks. Hopefully I can hear someone chime in on this!
Thanks for the update citycentre.

I'm glad to hear construction will start soon.

City Centre Properties has a few other projects underway at the moment correct? Things like the Hobson's Lake Towers?

Correct. We do own that property and are vigorously looking for a possible tenant to lease the space. Unfortunately, unlike residential, commercial properties require a signed lease before being able to obtain a mortgage. However, we are confident that we will be able to lease one building and begin construction next year.
We do have other projects coming up in the future, but our biggest is definitely Bayview (Icon Bay Halifax).

They have finally started digging at the spot that will be 650 Washmill Lake Dr, which is on the corner of Washmill and Dunbrack, right across from the Mount Royale Subdivision.

Crane was on the way up when I was on my way home, looks like they had a late start so not much is done.

We'll see how it turns out. They have made everything else in that development as ugly as possible.

I see we had the same idea yesterday. I did grab a photo showing the backside along Mainland Linear Trail;

All done and hands down the best building in the neighbourhood! I believe this is the last building for the original Mount Royale subdivision.

It looks like a better thought out/revamped, stumpy version of The Trillium from this angle. I wish we would've gotten this design downtown, with the Trillium height.
