Hope it's OK to post this here, the best (IMO) most detailed privately owned model railroad ever. Be advised the video is 1/2 hour long, but you'll get the flavor after a while.

CN ES44AC #2912 and SD70I #5605, coasting down Steelton Grade with a mixed freight and intermodal consist. In the background is Ely's Peak. Poor quality is due to it being a video still.

Another video still from this August. Here CN C40-8W #2197 and C44-9W #2668 work up Steelton Grade with a tanker consist, about to pass below Becks Road in the far western outskirts of Duluth. This was taken from the Munger Trail, which can be seen in the background crossing over the tracks. Working by the grade is a crew cleaning up the old, original easement of Steelton Grade, which was single-track. The grade was improved recently, work being done in the early spring of this year. Upgrades included a second track, a track re-routing to make it more straight-forward, and new signals.

Being closer to roads and trails than before and seeing a greater frequency of longer consists than in the past, Steelton Grade is a railfanner's paradise. The only downside is that it's almost entirely CN GEVOs, which can get repetitive, but I highly recommend it. It's one of those treasures of the Zenith City that you won't find in any tourist guide.

April 4th: D&NE 2-8-0 #28, under steam after years of neglect and a lengthy restoration, switches in the yard at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth, Minnesota. Come July she will enter passenger service, and will start running regular trips to Two Harbors in August.

Backing out of the enclosed museum yard.

DM&IR SD-18 #193 creeps after #28 onto the main. Here #28 continues in reverse after the switch behind her is thrown, and #193 waits patiently to follow.

#193 moved up the main a ways and picked up a flatbed stored on an abandoned track. After fetching it back to #28, #193 moved back into the yard. Here #28 follows suit, passing below the I-35.

#28 moves the flatbed to outside the Draper maintenance building, under the modest downtown skyline. It was in the Draper building where her restoration was performed.

Finally, #28 backs out of the yard only to re-enter and stop and rest where she began.

Sorry about the quality, this was shot with my phone. I wasn't expecting any of it.

June 20th: DM&IR SD18 #193 leads an eastbound Duluth Zephyr up the shore, past the western-most point of Lake Superior.

Taken with a Nikon D5200 and a 200mm lens, from the end of the South Pier, about 3500 feet away. To take in all the juicy detail, check out the full-size photo: http://i.imgur.com/OHkwd27.jpg

July 17th: two CN GEVOs lead a CN executive consist down Steelton Grade, as seen from halfway up Ely's Peak in far western Duluth. The same train was reported being seen in Carbondale, Illinois, two days later.
