I've seen many a small child splashing around in that fountain, with swollen diapers full of water. Which is safe to assume the kids are not quite potty trained. I am sure you can fill in the blanks on what will happen next.
You must not be from the area. When I was growing up you definitely jumped in the fountains , it was almost a summer ritual, along with opening up the water plugs...I dont think there has ever been a case of anything happening to the kids that hopped into the fountains to wade for a few minutes.
BTW, if they have on a pamper it will soak up the water so that it will appear ballooned,it isn't necessarily because the child pottied and it doesn't have anywhere else to go...Take it from me,I have a 2 and a 3 year old.

I use the fountain for it's healing abilities.

For real though, why are we arguing about this.

I am wondering if they are cleaning the residue as a result from the exhaust fans below? You can see the yellowish stains on the light panels. If this is so, I am wondering if there is a way to re-direct the exhaust away from the light panels. Or is this maintenance unavoidable due to architectural and structural design? Overall, this powerful design is growing on me. It has a European flair but very unique in a imposing brutalist way. This building will soon define Philadelphia, like the Liberty Place towers.

What is the residue from that is imparting the green/yellow color on those panels? On the inside of the fan units or the outside. I hope it was something during the construction process and not something that will be re-occuring.

It'll definitely be reoccurring, but they are giving the tower a wash before it completes next month

There's a flap in the lantern that flips open as well, I've seen it open while guys were cleaning the lantern.

Not sure what was going on last night, but I was on the roof of parkway central library last night for an event and from my view it looked like there were people in the restaurant space and the elevators were running up and down to the top floor all night.

Maybe some type of soft opening? When is the restaurant supposed to open?

I wouldn't be surprised, I have seen people posting pics on facebook and IG from inside the restaurant/lounge space--not public visitors, but restaurant folks, Four Seasons people, etc.
Everything is supposed to be open on August 12.

I've seen a few posts on Instagram lately, there have been people getting exclusive visits to the top. Lucky bastards. And for the past week I've noticed the top section out of nine in the lantern has completely shut off

I managed to see the restaurant at the Four Seasons in Comcast Tech, it is nice, very nice, better than the graphics. There is a pool on one level as well. The restaurant looks like the graphics but exceptional quality, very nice

I was debating whether or not to post since I'm sure people want to see it all themselves ...

but here are some awesome pics and video of the pool area if you are interested:

I'm glad you posted these pictures because I don't know how to post on here yet; I took photos on my phone but couldn't figure it out.

It's also a good idea to post on here because some people may not get a chance to get there for a while or may not live close to downtown; individuals have different circumstances; this was a good idea.

Maybe I missed news about this, but did they actually stick with the design of the glass elevators on the spire?

Can anyone get a video riding that up yet?
