Interesting. I was struck when visiting Grand Cayman on a cruise to see that the highest point on that flat island, unmistakably, was the city dump.

When I was a kid, there was a national kids-oriented game show called Fun House, and without exception, the grand prize was a trip to Catalina Island.

My Grandfather visited there a lot. From 1946 until 1965. Not sure why. Long Beach too.
