Hard to tell through that netting. But once we're above those floors, we'll start to see a more defined 3rd phase of the tower form.

The Chrysler Building is 925 feet to the roof, and it's pretty close to that. I'd say it's about 910 at this point.

It’s been taller than Met Life since it reached the last setback. From the last photo, only two floors have been added above that (the mechanical floors which take longer). They are large floors, but I don’t think it’s at 900 ft yet.

Some helpful numbers again…

1st setback……425 ft

2nd setback….818 ft

3rd setback….1080 ft

4th setback….1255 ft

Top of bldg…..1390 ft

Subtract 2 ft for the Park Avenue elevation.

NYguy is correct, this building has been taller than the MetLife Building since late April, but the building has not passed 900' yet, it is ~885' to the top of the current column splices.

^ There should be at least some work going on there. But I just saw some awesome shots of it on the news (channel 11).

Some cam shots from today's apocalypse. The cranes are jumping, and it won't be long before they're as high as Vanderbilt...
