I didn't take a pic of it, but the permit is posted right on the corner of 15th and Walnut with a sign next to it that says "Hard Hat Site."

Are these new? Someone took a picture of a permit posted on 12/27. Hopefully this is additional progress.

Yes, the permit for the foundation has been there for a while- with no other signs of progress. I have no idea why they even rushed to post it on that corner. Last time I went by (last week) I saw no signs of the parking lot heading towards closure.

Different Permit #

Seems like that appeal is for a different permit than the foundation.

I wish Brooke Lenfest would provide an update, but he only appears on these forums if someone badmouths him or if you turn off the lights and say his name three times into a mirror.

^^ Yeah. Everyone take a chill pill. Watch the other towers currently under construction and calm down. Hahaha

Take it as a positive sign that they placed an odd piece of fence up with this notice. These things take time, but it seems to me they would not have gone to that trouble if this wasn't headed in the right direction.

There were no cars in it and the sign said "temporarily closed". I don't know if it is open right now.

Nice investigation - but I'm stumped. Anyone have any theory how a 3 week closure could be related to W project? (unless Parkway rep is just lying or misinformed)

Well it could very well be misinformation. It could be closed for good. They already did soil samples last year, so I doubt it's for that.

They could be closing it to do test bores and then reopening it until they're ready to move on foundation, but I would think that would be pointless.
