In the last picture, that empty lot to the north, does anyone know what that's going to be? Is there an active proposal for that site?

that plot was retained by the previous owners for a residential development. It will probably be a ~400 foot tower.

This is magnificent. Now we need to get rid of those crappy FedEx/UPS buildings behind it on Greenwich.

I'd like to see that site broken up into a site with two or three buildings with a huge shopping arcade (including a new supermarket), a hotel, condos, and office space. There should be a nice plaza between the buildings too.

Honestly, the facade doesn't look that great in person. I went past it today and was pretty underwhelmed. Maybe it will look better when it is finished. Who knows.

And I wonder what is to become of that lot immediately to the north?

As I look closer, you're right. It almost has a 70s look. Sadly, I never get down to that area, so I won't see it in person for a while.
