Artwork of your city that you have in your home

Does anybody have artwork of their city in their home?

If so, post it here and if there is anything interesting about it, share the story.

This features prominently at the entrance to my house:

Bought it at a art fair in Chicago in 2013 and it’s been hanging in our home ever since. We bought it from the artist who had other wonderful pieces. It was pretty expensive, but artists should get paid for their hard work so we thought it was worth it

have a few things, my favorite being this, a print I picked up from the Printer's Row Lit Fest a few years ago. In case you're not familiar, it's a Chicago take on a famous New Yorker cover.

You can buy your very own at https://wondercitystudio.com/collect...ns-map-11-x-14 (and they have plenty of other good stuff...I also have their "Rolling Stock of the Chicago 'L'" I bought at the Printer's Row Lit Fest a different year)

Coulter was a well-known marine artist who painted many sailing ships. This classic image of the 1906 fire shows ships in the harbor including refugees headed to Oakland.

Then there's this one:

I have some framed postcards on the wall, depicting Asheville being attacked by UFO's. I also have a handmade coffee mug, given as a gift from our realtor, with "Greenville" stamped into the side. Might get some photos later.

I've got artwork from several cities I've lived in, ranging from Houston to Pittsburgh to here in Chicago as well as Denver. I love having pieces on my wall I have at least a somewhat personal connection with!

I have a huge framed picture of a Phoenix mountain from the 1920s in my living room. Today the area is fully developed in the picture, there's nothing but a dirt road leading to the mountain. The photo is one of a kind as far as I know. A friend working with the power company found some images, stitched them together, blew it up and printed it on photo paper. Got it framed for about $500 going on 10 years ago. If I were to guess, the picture is 48" x 8" give or take.

It's funny, for as much as I love my hometown, I don't have any artwork of it hanging in our home.

I guess I sort of see the classic Chicago 3-flat that we live within as our "Chicago" artwork.

Architecture: the most important art. You can't get more authentically "Chicago" than that.

I have a few framed architecture-focused photos I took in Atlanta and a few other cities and also have artwork from places I either plan to live (Barcelona) or wish I had lived in (NYC).

One of the best 'souvenirs' of my Barcelona visits-with a bunch glare form the windows:

Purchased from a street vendor set up on front of Metropolitan Museum:
