we got almost a foot of snow today.. absolutely nuts. Makes me happy we have streetcars, they plow through the stuff like it doesn't exist while the buses keep getting stuck.

Moving much faster than many of the Toronto projects in the top ten.

Aura seems totally stalled out, almost like they're going bankrupt like Trump Tower Toronto is.

Well, I guess. But still. It should move faster, One Bloor already looks like it's catching up, and Brookfield Place will be next at the rate it seems to be moving.

all projects have moved extremely slowly over the last month because of the stupidly bad weather. It'll get better.

Yeah, plus it looks like Aura's about to transition from the regular residential floorplates to the mechanical floors and crown. Towers always slow at the top because of this. Look at L Tower and Ice.

do they allow you to go up there while construction? I thought they don't let anyone go up there while the building is underconstruction because of safety issues.

Yes - they do allow people up there during construction, obviously not just anyone can go up there, but our company is working on the project.

As promised - they are forming the walls/columns for the mechanical penthouse level at the minute

Construction doesn't progress in a linear fashion, it's often bookended by longer periods as digging down and U/G floors take a long time and once a building is topped out there is a lot of internal work to be done that doesnt look like much is changing when in fact a lot is going on.

Pouring floors and getting height to a building is one of the easiest and fastest parts of construction.

There's definitely a lot going on at aura, you just can't see it anymore.
