Red face

Can you credit these? Not because I am so rule-police, but because I genuinely am curious to see who took these pictures.

The entrants are posted after the voting is over.

Nice entries. I had a cool one for this contest but didnt get it online in time. If I had I was going to enter this one. I took it while out with JManc and Jfre81 on a photocrawl.

I love the selective focusing on that shot, diskojoe!

Same here. All outstanding shots, but I went with 4. I love all the metaphors that come to mind with that photo.

Pretty sure #1 is in Canyonlands National Park in Utah. Scariest damn drive I've ever done in the dark. Headlights are completely useless on a "road" like that.

Neat photos all.

Honestly, I think I'd vote for diskojoe's if it was an entrant. But alas. #2 for me.

Really enjoyed the long and winding road of #1. They were all vote worthy though.

Darn it, missed entering and missed voting on this one. Have to remember to check in here more often.

I would have voted for 2 and broken the tie....such a lovely rich green.

#1 was definitely Canyonlands NP, bunt_q was right. That was my photo, BTW... Who's photo was #2?

Nice Glowrock, I was torn between yours and #2. So what happens with a tie?

We've only had one other tie that I can remember. Mine was #2. I defer to Glowrock for the next category.

That was a gorgeous photo, HomeInMyShoes. As others have noted, the richness of the green grass was amazing!

I suggested railways as the next contest, but I'm certainly open to suggestions. Not sure if or when there's been a train-oriented photo contest. If there's been one recently, another suggestion would be bridges...

Newfoundland, for two months of the year, is a wonderfully green place. For the rest of the year it's still very interesting, but just not green.
