ZBF-YUL seems to be loaded into their booking system starting August 3rd.

Kaliffa Air Boeing-4HQF (came in for a lobster run)

Kinda of surprised to see over 20+ vehicles come in to watch the Kaliffa landing.
Kalitta!

The sunwing brought in temporary foreign workers from Mexico. Another flight arrived today.

That's a lot of straight up/straight down. I feel a little motion sick just thinking about it...lol.

Glad to see the expansion of service though, including expanding into Sydney.

And another Sunwing arriving today at the Moncton airport which came in from Jamaica, joining her sister ship on the tarmac. This one must have been pretty full of temporary workers because there was 3 Maritime Buses with several other vehicles waiting out front.

Temporary worker for sure.

There are only four Canadian airports open for international arrivals (Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver).

Three other airports have been granted exemptions however to allow essential temporary foreign workers to access the country without having to deal with the "quarantine hotels" in the four main cities. These airports are Halifax, Moncton and Winnipeg.

I wonder what the quarantine and testing procedures for these temporary workers are?

Good news!

Apparently most of the regional routes will be returning. Hopefully most people will have at least their first shot by then.

Porter returning to YFC on June 21. Assume other NB airports as well. So YFC will have Air Canada, Westjet, Porter and PAL offering regularly sked flights this summer

Busy night last night at the Moncton Airport.

C-130 Hercules taking off was a surprise.
Air Canada Express came in from Montreal.
Kalitta Air getting ready to leave for Anchorage AK with belly full of frozen lobsters.
CargoJet in the background was next to hit the runway to Montreal.

Well looks like the two airlines thing was short lived for Bathurst, PAL no longer shows it in its map or destinations, sucks but with the news of the eventual return of Air Canada, could see this coming.

I was browsing around on the PAL site, and discovered that in addition to flights out of Moncton to Deer Lake, St. John's and Wabush, that flights to Ottawa will commence on August 2nd, and that PAL also intends to begin flights to Halifax six days per week as well.

This will give Moncton five destinations via PAL Airlines as of August. Not too bad.

PAL's expansion plans into the Maritimes seems pretty damned aggressive. All major Maritime cities are benefitting from this expansion.

Would be amazing if PAL signs a codeshare/partner agreement with Air Canada to be the regional carrier for these routes to AC frequent fliers can benefit. Would likely be a boost to demand for PAL.

They do some code sharing with WestJet but must book through a travel agent.
