Very nice job with those twins. You've done a good job making all the buildings flow with one another making for an excellent skyline. I really like the street-scape and the city all together. No flaws as of now in my opinion. You've hit a home rune with this city.

Sorry to hear about you aunt.

Wow, this is great. I'd like to see something glassy like what Mo makes. And some water because I don't have much appeal for skylines without a waterfront. A river would be nice. And I love your Nickel Building. Very classy.

While the Exchange Center is nice, I'm not too crazy about it being directly copied, especially the name.

Thanks guys,Ill take all that into consideration

Some wuestions(whats a wuestions?)

1,What sort of architectural styles should I use?

2,Should Ero3 remain the tallest? should anything even come close? if a new tallest is made, where should it be located and what style should it be?

3,whats your favorite building to date?

4, what sort of lanscape?(river,penninsula,bay,etc)

5, what needs to be fixed that hasnt been mentioned?

1. i think sort of like Chicago. very diverse styles. old and new, etc...

2. i think ero should be the 2nd tallest. and the tallest should be 100-150 ft taller IMO.

3. my fav would be Nickel and Ero.

4.i think a bay with a river flowing into it would be nice...IMO again.

5. I dont think anything needs to be done. except maybe put some trees in the park in front of the train station.

City's great! keep it up

I think you should give her an art deco infusion

I agree with Treras

Nickel

Set her along a river and throw in a few lakes

Nothing comes to mind

I like windows where a single pane doesn't necessarily mean it belongs to a single floor, It adds mystery

You think that sucks? That's amazing! I love the school-board building, it's so old and it looks nice with the bricks. The Seattle Tower based tower sort of needs a spire or something to compliment the top. Maybe not exactly the same as the 3 spires here but something to make it look sleeker would be great!

The seattle based one took 6 hours, but It failed so I started over. this one took nearly 30 minutes. It has a "spire" that is supposed to be a commpass pointing down the street to the north.

I fixed it up some, still needs alittle bit of work

I also have plans for a sexy posmodern skyscraper soon.

So the city wasnt really makin sense,so I moved some thing around, densified downtown and added some more tallies,Including a new tallest to spire.

Looks alot better now doesnt it?

ohh,and I fliped the train station around, now everythings backwards.

EDIT: though Downtown needed a big red one,so I combinend BOA Dallas,BOA Houston and Scotia plaza. just did it,so its not done just yet.

"Based on Seattle Tower" looks great, "rationalist". And that exchange plaza, I know it's HK's floorplants, but HK's is stepped, while yours gives more the impression of GM's building in Detroit.
Well obviously with all the ground detail and high quality buildings (besides the school board mammooth ) this is making for your best and a fantastic city.

So I think Im gonna verge from the usuall. the skyline plan is going to be a large(dallas,Seattle size) dense high rise district. then outside there will be a second large cluster,A steep mountin sorta thing. and maybe a cool standalone somewhere way outside Dtown (williams tower, space needle) when viewed from some angles, itll look like Seattle, from others ittll look like the usual Chi town.

This city is great. Wow, your skills improved so quickly! This has to go up in the top five best Sketchup cities of all time. The buildings are great and it would look even better rendered! The "red" one needs a little thick roof at the top though. Will there be a waterfront? Because if there is then I can't wait. The new tallest looks awesome, the top is very nice. There's also a black and white boxy tower, that one looks great!

PS. The Space Needle will soon be covered up because of all the residential highrises proposed for the Belltown area.

The Top of John Ritter Tower (named after the guys who voices clifford, the big red dog,and its a big red tower,so ha) will probbably be changed to glazed glass like scotia plaza.

yes a waterfront is likely,Im desighning they layout of the city on my ipod and I will post em on myspace soon. maybe even terrian to.

I mentionend I moved the train station(itsnow by based of seattle tower, tower) I filled in its old lot with the John Ritter Tower,Natl Bank and Associates Tower and Trinity Plaza. Heres the lot by it self

John Ritter,AKA "clifford" on the left, built in 1987,Natl Bank and Ass. in the middle(the Dac150 box) and Trinity Plaza on the right

John Ritter is known as Trinity Cities friendliest man,he has a park were Citizens can relax, and the tower and bankng hall is open 24/7 for guests to walk around. he is often criticized by the city to add more security, but he has many hidden safety features in the tower and park.
(the whole by the sculpture is there so I could set up the last shot right. ill unhide)

More

and just cool
