Here's the shape of the floor plate. The edge of the tower which we are looking at in the rendering is the left edge of the floor plate here.

http://www.massey-tower.ca/Masseyfloorplans.pdf

So it looks like a interesting concave curve on the side of the tower not seen in the rendering, an no balconies on that side.

The Balconies facing south into the Maniulife Building might be a drapes and blinds problem for the new owners on the lower floors. But other than that, they have the benefit of the balcony space where the north facing units have none.

This is quite a sleek looking building. Does anyone know if it will include some sort of retail in the podium? I hope it's not just a parkade.

I really like this project. This is what Le Peterson in Montreal should have looked like.

Instead we're getting this:

No, not parking, it's amenities.

Massey Tower goes to community council in May

Project is looking very positive

Also, trees on site, have been cleared, in preparation for construction?

Massey Tower Goes Before Toronto Community Council May 13, 2013

Tower is just over 200 meters, and has sold required number of units to begin construction, City Community Council, is probably the last formitable obstacale to construction....

Slick little presentation. I enjoyed the score, too. It'll be great to see this thing rising. Digging the gently undulating curves.
