There is a render out there for a snazzy new 24 story apartment proposal at the NE corner of Sangamon and Monroe. Hesitant to post as it is marked 'CONFIDENTIAL' and don't want to potentially piss anyone off in my industry. Tower has nice, unique glazing system that is very randomized, but makes good use of each facade. Between each horizontal window bay, there is a portion of the glazing that almost look like louvers that are at 45 degree angles, but they are fixed, so it creates an interesting shadow effect.

24 floors would be great. We will likely only get half that unfortunately.

The site of an intrepid urban gardening project last year - using runoff from the school next door. The gardens were in wading pools sitting on the pallets, designed to be easily moved. The limestone is from the building that stood where Millie is now.
