'mystery' milk bottle in Topanga Canyon.

"This water tank built by T. W. (Bill) Kneen in the shape of a milk bottle. It was built in the 1930's out of masonry.
Located at Red Rock Road, Old Topanga Canyon."

This is, no doubt, the same Bill Kneen that owned Kneen's Kamp (which I thought we had covered / but I can't locate the posts)
here's a look at that property.

The actual address is 772 N. Topanga Boulevard.
The main house is still standing. (although I wasn't able to spot any of the cabins because of the trees) -obviously the tent-cabins are long gone.

Did you notice the unique shape of the pillars?
before/after
hmm..the one on the right looks thinner.
details
One or more of the pillars have been covered up by the addition. (hopefully they're still intact inside)
All that said and done; Kneen's 'milk bottle' was located somewhere on Red Rock Road which is quite some distance from the former Keene's Kamp.
So after all that; I'm still not sure
where on Red Rock Road Kneen's 'milk bottle' was located.
I'd like to think some of it's crumbled remains might still be up on red rock road.

Folks, I just reread my post, and had an extreme case of
deja-vu....I think I might have already posted about this.
Oh well, it was fun way to spend a snowy night.

We discovered a different giant milk bottle a few years back. You can view it HERE
