Beautiful night photos, especially the one showing the inside of the wreckage of the car. Even something that shouldn't be beautiful somehow is with you behind the camera.

Wow, great pics. So weird to see these areas so empty, but thats a good thing.
I haven't gone out much in the quarantine.

Wow, Kelvin. This is an incredible collection of photos documenting the last few months in LA. Thanks so much for sharing these! It's a little painful looking at some of the photos and seeing the homelessness as well as the damage from the looters, but it's important to shine a light on all this and preserve it in images. Seeing the diversity of the protesters, that is to say how many non-black protesters there were/are, it shows that anti-racism in the US has broad support... at least here in LA. You're photos captured quite a bit of beauty, during a challenging period of time. I feel a sense of optimism looking at your photos. Thank you again!

5 stars. Such a sad and depression year for the city.

Thanks for taking and sharing these photos. Really great stuff. I'm bummed I didn't make it out to see the bioluminescent waves!

Amazing thread! Los Angeles has this magical aura and your pics captured it perfectly. It seems like a fictional setting. Superb work!

2020 is so fuckedup.

That's why I told people never make plans for the future.

Imagine last year when you considered 2019 was a bad year and put all hopes on 2020 for a fresh start....

I've been MIA from SSP for a while; I've been very fortunate to be gainfully employed - but at the same time, crazybusy with work. Finally getting around to checking out some photo threads and yours was one of the first.

First, awesome job and great pics. Second, thank you for sharing these - I have family/in-laws in Southern California (Riverside County) and when my husband and I would visit, they would take us around to many of the sites you've shown. I live in Cleveland, so while it's not exactly cornfields, it's nowhere near the sheer numbers of people, traffic, etc. and it's just otherworldly to see some of these SoCal places that were once teeming with activity and people to be completely devoid of both. If you're ever wondering if anyone notices your posting these - I'm sure I speak for many when I say yes, and it's very much appreciated.

Thank you for your kind words! I've been wanting to make time to go out and take more photos. I'm glad I can keep posting for your enjoyment.

Yes, its bizarre to see the LA area so quiet compared to it's regular self.
