Prices released for S.F. waterfront luxury condo tower — and yes, they are high
By Laura Waxmann – Real Estate Reporter, San Francisco Business Times
Feb 13, 2020, 6:59am PST Updated 51 minutes ago

Sales for a 120-unit luxury condominium tower on San Francisco’s waterfront launched Tuesday, and with prices starting at $1.6 million, its developers are frank about the kind of buyers they hope to attract . . . .

The 20-story tower’s mix of condos that hit the market this week range from 839-square-foot, one-bedroom units starting at $1.6 million to 3,000 square-foot, three-bedroom units in the $7 million range. The two-bedroom units are priced at $3 million.

The prices for four penthouse units that are up to 6,200 square feet in size have not been released but will be “very big numbers,” according to Zeger, who jokingly put out a call to Elon Musk — or the like . . . .

Maybe Steph Curry will regret already committing.

Personally, if I had that kind of money, I would prefer living at the Four Seasons Private Residences than here. 706 Mission at Yerba Buena Gardens offers more of an urban living experience with better access to the cultural and shopping heart of downtown. In addition, the views are better and more varied, unless you just want to see the bay and bridge.

When you really take a good look at that photo, it becomes apparent that it's a really great photo.

First, it's one of the most expansive and visually complete overviews of the decade's worth of new projects in Transbay/SoMa. Look wider and you get a clear idea of how these new forms are juxtaposed beside the older core skyline. Look at all that blueee on the newest stuff! Look wider still, and you see they managed to include a clear visual of the trademark hills, and even Coit Tower. Look widest and you see it manages the near impossible task of featuring both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge in one photo that isn't an aerial photo.

You can see so much so clearly. It's San Francisco in a single image! An 11 out of 10 for me.

[edit] DAMN even Sutro is visible in the background!

All great points, NYC2ATX - I definitely agree.

And not to veer too far away from 75 Howard (it is in the picture again), but this shot is even more expansive:

*There are much larger versions on Sergio's Flickr page - definitely worth checking out.
