Today's departure count: 64 - that’s the lowest Saturday count in a long time, evidently the shoulder season before the first sun flights start showing up in the next 4 weeks

Today's cancellation count (so far): 1

Today's departure count: 77, including an F8 departure to New York (assume it’s JFK as F8 don’t serve LGA - charter or a ferry flight? It left from gate 12.

Today's cancellation count (so far): 4 - plus a bunch of delays tonight thanks to the thunderstorms.

I just booked a flight through LHR, unfortunately since it is not daily, I could not book it on the way out, but coming back using LHR-YOW in July

I finally took the Air France flights from YOW. I had a 1h25 and 1h30 connection in CDG on the outbound and inbound flights. CDG is certainly a behemoth of an airport, but the wayfinding is excellent and the interactive map on AF's app with connection directions that you can look at during your flight is very helpful.

The flight to CDG is timed extremely well for connections. I think other folks have mentioned it before, but arriving into Paris as your final destination at 06:00 is not optimal... but I am wondering if AF is seeing >70% connections at the moment.

On Sept 25 AF327 seemed >90% full. Premium Economy upgrade available at check-in for $398 which I jumped on. There were 5-6 seats at this price. They were selling business for $1100 but only have 2 available. On the Oct 6 AF328 return, Premium was sold out (I could not upgrade even in advance) and business had 5 seats left for $1000 on check-in.

Their premium economy seats are what I would call "cozy". Nothing special but $398 on the overnight was worth it.
On the return, I sat in the first row bulkhead of economy and almost enjoyed it more than premium economy. I could sit with my leg crossed on top of each other or stretched out without issues. Highly recommend the bulkhead on the A359 aircraft if you are flying economy.

Landing in YOW after a 7h+ flight and being home in 30 minutes is amazing. I was able to unwind at home and be prepared for Monday morning without issues. I may never transfer in YYZ or YUL again for transatlantic. My time and sanity is worth whatever the fare difference is on that. Excited for LHR to come back next year too.

Anyways - I'm happy AF is here and will use them again. I much preferred their lunch & snack product (flight to YOW) over their dinner (flight to CDG).

Added bonus was landing on 14 yesterday and sitting on the port side of the aircraft and being able to see the entire city.

Today's cancellation count (so far): 1 - not surprisingly this is PD505 to MCO. These two hurricanes may really impact demand to Florida this winter. Time will tell.

Looks like FLL will be relatively unscathed, and I'd be surprised if the Orlando theme parks weren't quick to fix any damage, mitigating the hit to MCO. You're right though, could be a rough start for PD's TPA and potentially RSW service.

Speaking of FLL, first NHL charter of the regular season is currently inbound as a DL 757 is bringing the Panthers to Ottawa for the season opener tomorrow.

I'm guessing there's only 4 AF departures this week as there's no CDG today.
