1. Some kind of deal to either restore the Royal Connaught as a hotel or redevelop it as mixed-use market rate units happens.
2. A decision in favor of LRT, at least an East-West line to begin.
3. A very important development is proposed and approved on James North, to commence construction immediately. (something like the proposed but pretty much dead condo project at Acclamation)
4. Something big name comes to Jackson Square or an otherwise big news project is announced.
5. Hamilton NHL team, at least a firm decision or franchise rights achieved.
6. Tivoli Theatre gets some major restoration/construction work started by the end of 2010. Lyric Theatre gets the same. Half point each.
7. Some kind of important development somewhere along the "Barton Village", including proposals pre-2010. (NOT including a hospital parking lot)
8. 24 hour service somewhere in the HSR system at least gets a trial period or serious announcement. OR later service introduction for a half point.
That's all I have, I can't make it an even 10 right now.
