That's just the perspective of the angle. The overhead shot a few images earlier show there's a whole street between the two office towers.

My dislike of this design remains steadfast. It's ungainly and poorly proportioned.

I like it. It's distinctive. It's like a contemporary Citigroup Building.

The one thing that bothers me is the diagonal glass cutaway at the one corner of the bottom. It's unbalanced.

The dimensions on this ugly-ass thing changed some time ago. 46 floors, 240 meters, 787 ft.

Update!

I was walking by and noticed this parking lot finally had some activity....for some reason I thought it was 400 Front at first. Anyways, this is now in demolition phase, after I took the second image they just started tearing down the corner of the yellow brick building;

Yesterday, taken off my cell phone

The building is above ground, and the core, branded and all, is now going to be rising;

I returned to Toronto from Montreal yesterday and wow, what a difference this project is making already from the point of view exiting Union Station @ University/Front. A much needed density improvement.

I predict this will be the next CIBC Square, in terms of how it surpasses our expectations.

I took these three days ago...it's presence will be quite substantial:

A little more to the west, still looking south...note the facade slowly creeping outward:

I was in a bit of a rush today, but I took this on the way to running an errand....it's going to be quite a substantial building once it's done:

Zoomed in (cell phone image....it's the best I could do)
