That's one of my favourite skyscrapers u/c globally right now, I just wish they would have made it 400m+ instead. The wideness would allow for it.

I feel like the Tobacco Building would make an excellent electric razor.

Wow, staff. That picture from the ground is amazing! I love that building, it's one of my favorite building U/C right now. I love that covered plaza between the shorter towers, really makes the area look great.

Nahh, they're not out of style yet but they will be later on. I think the new kind of twisting buildings will look more like the Shanghai Center with smooth facades rather than sharp edges. And yes, the CS isn't the first twisting building to be built and won't be the last. The first was Turning Torso in Sweden.

Future City proposal, Shanghai's first eco-skraper. I really hope this goes through:

So there's only one other twisting building in the world and that makes it not original?
I would agree if it was another square box but please.

There are about quite a few twisting towers that have been designed or are under construction, in China and the Gulf especially. I love their look (chicagos spire is great too).

Hangzhou

Guangzhou

old designs

Shanghai

Tianjin

Guiyang

London

Toronto (the original design by a Chinese firm)

Panama City

Dubai

(revolving tower)

Kuwait

Istanbul (my favourite)

Moscow

Valencia

Kuala Lumpar

Nagoya

Paris

Sarajevo

Gold Coast, Australia

muppet,
VM Husene has already been posted (by AdrianXSands I think).
Great buildings nontheless.

Unfortunately that Shanghai eco proposal has been dead for quite some time.

Yes, that eco proposal is awesome. I've seen it several times before but it won't be built for quite some time. I love it though and it would be great if it was built.

And thank you for those rotating towers. I didn't know 9 of those projects. And my favorite are the Dubai Towers Istanbul too. They look so sleek, so modern, so good. They probably have the best rotating design out of all of the rotating towers. Then it would be the CS, the Infinity, Shanghai Center and Turning Torso tied up in second place. The Toronto ones and London ones are pretty nice too.
