I think they both suck. The smaller building between the two is the best I think out of the 4 that are together.

Yep, The Tower and Capricorn Tower are definitely well designed. The two new towers are taller mockeries.

How are the upper floors on the Al Attar tower gonna work? They seem mostly hollow, and I can't picture the floor layout uop there.

I just want to know where the hell all the people are coming from that are going to occupy all of these towers, Im guessing a good majority of them will be mostly vacant.

That's exactly what me and my buddy were talking about last night. It's nice to see lots of pretty buildings but how's it all going to work out? There are only a few rich people that can afford such luxuries.

At the very least, it's fun to watch some really different and dynamic architecture being built, and I appreciate the pictures.

yeah but those rich people can buy multiple condo's and rent them out. actually, i think dubai is trying to make everything cheaper so that it can get more tourists. the lower the prices, the more amount of families who can visit. and with such a large amount of condo's and cheap construction, these 3 bed, 2 bath condo's on the 40th floor of XXX tower will sell for less than 400,000 dollars. Something that would cost over a million in many US cities.

The tower on the left here was beautiful when it was on it's own, when it was first built. But now with the sludge towers next to it the view is ruined.

Dubai isn't so much a city as a collection of idiosyncratic projects. Many of them would be beautiful in isolation, but together they're just cacophanous. Maybe in subsequent generations, some level of gestalt will evolve - provided Dubai, Abu Dhabi, et al aren't ghost towns and the experiment hasn't failed utterly.

These towers are spectacular. the architecture is so inventive and expressive. the facade is literally peeling off! How magnificent! It has been so exciting seeing Dubai grow.

Right.
They look great in person, too. And they have a nice presence in the skyline.

its such a crazy mix of modern architecture on the Sheik al sayed road.

looks like some kind of a city you would expect to see in a Sci fi movie

And the Emirates Park Towers is really running towards becoming at a good spot in the top 4 of the very best twin tower in the world with that wild and original peeling facade.

And if u consider both height and design the only thing it can be compared to would be the Petronas towers wich kinda is in class of its own.
