London from the hills of Greenwich

1.
Starting up with a pint (or two) at Trafalgar Tavern guarded by Nelson himself

2.
Buildings of the Greenwich university

3.
Views from the hills at Greenwich

4.That's exactly where were are, the prime meridian

5.
Viewers enjoying the views of London

6.

7.

8.

9.
More skylines from high points around the place

10.
In this one the City and Canary Wharf are subjects to be put in a single shot

11.
The CW starts looking sexy when it gets darker

12.
Again same spot and same view of the City skyline after it gets darker

13.
The bright circle (London Eye) looks very prominent in the night skyline from far away

I'm afraid this is it (even though I was hoping to take more shots but felt too cold and tired so ended up with this).
Hope this wasn't too boring and uninteresting.

Thanks, ScG
I was thinking of visiting Scotland some day but never found time for that. It seems I'll visit HK and SE Asia once again and mainland china afterwards before (if ever) I'll go to Scotland

Ace photos as always, Jonas! Those views of CW are impressive indeed.

As to your reluctance to go & visit Scotland while anticipating your next trip to the Far East: I recommend it warmly! Both Glasgow and Edinborough have a whole lot to offer (not to mention the beautiful landscapes and smaller cities like Perth in between).

CHapp, thanks for your comment on my photos

As for Scotland I know it's beautiful and the cities should certainly be interesting. Among my other housemates there is one very nice Scottish guy and he assured me that it is a must see part of Britain. In fact I'll think about it and maybe me and my friends will decide to do a car trip or find some other fast and cheap way to travel there.

Edinburgh has got to the most beautiful (and photogenic) city in Britain while Glasgow is one of the rawest. Both cities are definately worth a look. The tenaments in both cities are IMO the best types of housing in the country in terms of architectural merit and quality.

Aberdeen as well as got some of the greatest collections of granite buildings in Britain.

All are a total contrast to England's endless stream of Victorian & Edwardian housing
