Upward in Paris

So, I'm back from my long visit to Europe. I didn't take as many photos as I'd hoped, because the weather was bad pretty much the whole time. I guess I got what I deserved for going when I did.

Anyway, these were taken on February 25-27. Most of the time I was struggling to make use of bad lighting, and there are only a couple shots in here that I really like...

And there you have it. I wanted to spend more time there (I was staying about an hour away by TGV), but the travel was just too expensive.

Spectacular as usual Upward. I hate those muggy light-grey-white overcast days too. Pompi looks absolutely gigantic there. Maybe I just never really understood it's scale.

Great photos. My less than 24-hour stay in Paris a few years ago whet my appetite for another visit. These photos just increased that desire to visit again even more.

Wow, I never expected East Texas to look so good!

I could tell you that these are fantastic, but you probably already know.

Looks like you took quite a few photos in Montmartre.

I actually like Paris on a cloudy day, and I like that fact that you took a lot of random views instead of the typical tourist photos.

Nice, most are pretty good IMO. I do like how you seem to have captured the vibe of the city and make up feel it though your lens. A few examples are these three.

#3 is Rue Froideveaux, along the Cimetère Montparnasse.
#4 is the Avenue du Général Leclerc, near the place Denfert Rochereau.

Kind of my territory.
