Interested to see the different colours they're able to use. Will certainly add some colour to the skyline.

It's a conventional, commonplace penthouse lighting but, wow, this looks better than most. Maybe it's the white. Please no programming. Change it up every evening if need be. Keep the colour scheme static. This is not a Telus Sky or CN Tower installation.

It barely looks taller than it is wide in some photos - like a square slab.

The bottom part of that building is basically an extention of Union Station.

Massing that is unfortunate.

Overall a high-quality asset that masks its mediocre design.

You guys should see it in person. That picture above for whatever reason makes it look much shorter than it is. It truly is a stunning tower. It's no wider than The Bow, and is a few feet taller.

Agreed that you definitely don't get the same feeling of squatness walking down bay street or yonge in-person. Theres very few places a pedestrian can actually get the full view of the width of the building. The second tower will be more noticeable, and I also wish it was a couple dozen meters taller to create a step-down feel towards the water.

We've had this convo before. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally really like CIBC Square and don't find it too wide at all and I've had the luxury of seeing it in person many times.

Diversity of opinion is good!

I didn't see it at 100%, but did see it this August.

Again, high-quality, great from the street, but too wide/squat in the sky.

It's width is fine wih me. Street level could be a bit better, but it's fine as is I guess. Anyways, I took the following yesterday of The One

Diversity of proportion is good too. After 100 skinny towers, Toronto is screaming out for some girth. And I don't find it squat at all.

It might be a bit tight, but across Queen from Nathan Phillips Square? Bulk up the northern edge of the financial district and mirror the circular thing going on with city hall.
