making buildings accessible immediately

Instead of waiting years to make buildings accessible,we should use existing technology to provide temporary compliance till permanent solutions are finally finished.Construction elevators, scissor lifts or window washing scaffolding could all be adapted [& set up in mere hours] to allow the disabled to use almost any building right now.

I don't know about other states but Texas has some of the most stringent accessible codes in the country. Any substantial renovation triggers a requirement for buildings to be brought into compliance to allow one access to the renovated area. (parking, route, restrooms, etc)
