Hey I'm not the one trying to pigeonhole a 4 year old news story to suit an agenda.

They couldnt even be bothered to interlock the driveway?

It looks like it has the aesthetics of a banquet hall.

The "grand" tour.

Edit: Is it just me or is the house wearing a helmet? Reminds of Tony Sopranos house.

The finishing touches to the construction might have been done only in 2018 (what's yet another loophole...?) resulting in that year for official completion on the record, but the building existed in near-complete form in the fall of 2016, because 9431 No. 6 Road, Richmond, BC, V6W 1E5, is absolutely undeniably the same house that existed in 2016, on 9.9 "agricultural" acres, ex-blueberry farm, owned by Wenli Shan and Liqiu Leng, and bordering the property of bee farmer Bob Fisher.

(I had no preexisting bias, I read whatnext's article and looked at your REW link, and that's clearly the one and only correct conclusion.)

I could care less who owns the house, unless it is someone relatively well known.

A quick Google search for "Bonhomme Creepy" brings this up.

In a thread that's supposed to be in part about discussing how deplorable it is that Canada is tirelessly building tasteless and soul-sucking sprawl all the time over what used to be prime agricultural land, loopholes that allow real estate speculators with zero social conscience to build barely-taxed multi-million dollar mansions in the ALR by officially deeming them "the one farm house allowed on the green-zoned parcel" is kind of on topic though.

Hahahaha! I suppose Bonhomme does have a certain cold appearance resembling Michael Myers. It's that dead white complexion with the black eyes. Also possibly the bloated Shatneresque face.

^An interesting look, I'm considering adopting it for my retirement years.

Is it possible for tackiness to be well executed? Perhaps we could call it haute kitsch, or roughly interpreted; "expensive garbage".

Here, Little Hong Kong meets Southfork Ranch:
