^Yes that would be it. The website says it will be completed in "Late Summer 2014" (mind you it also says look for updates in January 2014).

On an unrelated note that snow pile is smaller than normal. Usually it gets quite a bit taller than that.

So it's official this project will have "grand views". I snapped this from Mount Hope Avenue (~8km away);

That is an interesting shot, with the North End in the foreground (looking a lot denser than it used to) and all of the apartments/condos in behind. Worth reposting in the Canada section.

Project's website has been updated to include floor plans and site plans. There's no price list but it's safe to assume judging by the massive floor plans, and over-the-top amenities it will cater to Halifax's top 1%.

The apartments certainly are spacious. They also have a swimming pool, library, ballroom, cafe, clinic, spa and gym in the central clubhouse.

The apartments and amenities are quite impressive even though the exterior building design doesn't stand out.

I just realised we didn't have a "completed" photo for this building;

I was just roaming around a bit on Google Street View and noticed that the first phase of this development is complete and landscaped https://www.google.ca/maps/@44.64936...7i13312!8i6656 . Apparently it has been completed since Dec 2015, according to DMAjackson's last post.

Based on the Google images, it looks better than expected. Has the second building started?

I just wonder if something can be done with the rock cliff along Washmill Lake Drive - https://www.google.ca/maps/@44.64816...7i13312!8i6656 . Maybe a bit of topsoil and some hardy ferns?

What do you have against rock cliffs?

I agree with Keith. The rock cliffs are spectacularly beautiful. In Fenwick`s city they cover everything with sod but they do not have such beautiful rock like in Halifax. I would love to throw some seed for a few rock garden plants in that direction like ground phlox or golden allysum

This sounds good to me. I was just suggesting that they add some vegetation to the rock.

The construction permit has been issued for Phase II "The Ellington". A tower crane is ready to be assembled on site.

the cliffs arnt even the worst part. the retaining wall isn't level - it was built that way, it isnt settling, and whats up the the cheap ass looking portico thing over the entrance to the complex, and the pool/amenity building which must be being built by the Moes, because it has to have been under construction for longer then the nova center.

I'm surprised how many people I've talked to who have commented on that wall. I didn't notice it at first, maybe I was distracted by everything else going on on site, but once you see it, it can't be unseen. I don't think there is any foundation support to it - when I've looked it appears to be sitting on gravel at grade.
