Can St. Regis put some kind of signage over the top level of mechanical floors? I realize that those floors need to properly ventilate but there has to be some kind of aesthetic solve.

...from this optimal angle, and if the photographer is good, like Nick is. Some other angles are less flattering.

^ That shot is making me wish Wacker east of Michigan Ave had the same facade as Wacker west of Michigan Ave. It would be nice to block a bit of that orange lights of the lower levels and make the riverwalk feel more hospital and less noisy.

Wacker is not at all loud from the Riverwalk there, at least not above normal ignorable city noise levels, and the appeal of the Riverwalk is that you are in the middle of the city. The orange lights are sexy

Is that good? I don't remember if they ever mentioned what their profit target was (aside from 100% obviously, I mean realistically)

That's solid for a building that hasn't even opened yet. They could aim for 75% by end of 2021.

The article says "All together, the 15 condos sold for an average of $726 per square foot, according to Crain's analysis. The sale prices averaged 20 percent below the original asking prices."

That doesn't sound good.

Could be the general state of things though, it's not a time your average American wants to move into the middle of a crowded city and spend tons of money on a condo. Plus maybe they were asking too much and just settled for what buyers offered. I'm not sure but just trying to make myself feel better. I'm worried about other upcoming projects, as most of Chicago's very tall projects in the pipeline are all condos.

Article also states that half of the condos are under contract, and 15 have just recently closed escrow. Didn’t it take trump tower like 10 years to sell all of their units?

Not to stray off topic here too much ..... when in Chicago, and around Wanda/Vista/Regis I feel much less exposed since 90% or more people are masked, courteous, and consciences. Out in the burbs less so, the hills of WV, not at all.
