N 2nd St two-way conversion in Harrisburg breaks ground. I think this will be great for the City. The article also talks about some other roadway projects in the City.
Harrisburg University Tower
Photos taken by me on my phone on 05/15/2021. Steel seems to be maintaining a steady progression. Exciting to see!

Federal Courthouse
Photos taken by me on my phone on 05/15/2021. It was hard to get a good picture but it looks like they are finally starting to install some of the windows!
Building @ 6th & Maclay
Photos taken by me on my phone on 05/15/2021. Again, hard to get a good picture but it seems like they are still making progress here. I saw some metal wall studs along 6th and on the North side of the building, it looks like they removed part of the exterior wall.
Nice to see this project moving forward. They are filling in the gap between the Cathedral school and the old HS behind it to expand class room space. HARB approved this sometime prepandemic if I remember correctly. Removes more surface parking space if I remember correctly. (I'm always happy to see)

It's pretty gutsy for the author of that article to draw comparisons between City Island and places like Cape May, NJ & Rehoboth Beach, DE. Then again, calling this a beach is also pretty gutsy
But this is exciting news nonetheless - that area does have great views and a lot of potential. Just not swimming potential.

Agreed. But this sounds cool, so hopefully it is well done and brings some life back to City Island!

I dunno concrete and seeing and smelling raw sewage float past you sounds pretty great to me But yes cool views and I have always thought that CI was way underutilized. Years ago there was supposed to be a restaurant/big nightclub built on it but the West Shore complained terribly and threatened lawsuits and all sorts of stuff (I know that you are surprised ha ha) so it never went anywhere.
