Any word on leasing activity for the first building? I know it's not finished yet but I would have expected some sort of announcement by now to help generate some buzz.

There are some known companies who are at SB's life sciences building on Clark or Halsted that will go to Lincoln Yards once that building is done IIRC

I honestly think this idea that D2 and D3 are about to break ground is completely wrong. I know it's based on the Construction Journal's comments about the bids going out and such but I checked the PD and Sterling Bay does not have site plan approval for D2 and D3, only for D1 and C1 along Throop. The two permits for 1665 and 1687 N Throop are for D1 and C1 which can be verified by cross referencing the permit descriptions with the announced plans for D1 and C1.

1687 N THROOP ST

Follow up to that:

Construction Journal has updated that GC hasn't been picked and there's NO timeline

"*As of February 15, 2023, project has not been awarded to GC yet. A timeline has not yet been established."

^ The article was stating incorrect information from Construction Journal, so they likely retracted it once they found out it was incorrect.

Don't remember where I read it, but I think there may be a few companies in Sterling Bay's biotech building on Halsted in Lincoln Park temporarily that might move over there once this is all done. I have to find that article though..
